Strategic Relations and Binational Opportunities: The Chamber at Spain’s National Day Reception

Strengthening cultural, institutional, and economic bridges between Spain and South Florida.

The U.S. Hispanic Women’s Chamber of Commerce had the honor of attending—through its President and several Board Members—the official reception hosted by the Consulate General of Spain in Miami, led by Hon. Consul Belén Alfaro, on the occasion of Spain’s National Day. It was an exemplary evening that reaffirmed the importance of economic diplomacy and public–private collaboration in opening new trade and investment pathways across our region.

We shared this space with leaders and authorities such as Mayor Daniella Levine Cava, Congressman Carlos Giménez, and prominent entrepreneurs from the local ecosystem, strengthening key ties for the competitiveness of women-led businesses.

Why This Milestone Matters for Our Members

Real Trade Bridges: Dialogue with the diplomatic corps and Hispanic business sector opens access to suppliers, buyers, and strategic partners in Spain and the EU.

Gender-Focused Business Diplomacy: Positioning women entrepreneurs as leading actors in binational value chains.
Collaborative Agenda: Identifying opportunities for business missions, knowledge exchange, and investment attraction in high-potential sectors such as technology, professional services, tourism, creative industries, and sustainability.

“We extend our gratitude to the Consulate of Spain and Consul Belén Alfaro for an extraordinary reception. As a Chamber, we renew our commitment to public–private collaboration and to creating concrete opportunities for women-led businesses along the Spain–South Florida corridor.”
