The U.S. Hispanic Women’s Chamber of Commerce was created with the mission of promoting, supporting, and raising awareness of female entrepreneurship, as well as the expansion of women-led businesses in both the United States and Latin America.

The Mentoring Circle supports the Chamber’s mission by offering personalized support to each of our members. Our goal is to provide concrete solutions to your specific needs, thereby driving the growth, strengthening, and projection of your business.

What is the Mentoring Circle?

It is a professional mentoring program that promotes the personal and business development of our members. Through close relationships with women leaders with extensive experience, it offers advice, strategic guidance, and personalized support to strengthen their businesses with purpose and vision.

Expected commitments from our mentors and mentees

Our members who wish to support, develop, and/or learn to impact business growth can join our Mentoring Circle.

It is important to note that there are certain requirements to be part of our program.

What do we expect from our mentors and mentees?

Mentors

  • Meet selection criteria that include, among others, academic background, professional experience, and mentoring skills.
  • Be available to provide mentoring (minimum of two mentoring sessions per year, with no maximum limit).
  • Adopt the Mentoring Process of the U.S. Hispanic Women’s Chamber of Commerce, which includes participation in onboarding, review of objectives and progress, definition of measurable results, completion of control forms, and acquisition of ‘Inspiration’ membership.
  • Support our Chamber by giving presentations and/or webinars.
  • Participate in Chamber events and support our Community.

As Executive Vice President at Bladex, she has empowered high-performance teams and identified key opportunities for operational and financial efficiency. Her leadership approach is based on trust and autonomy, enabling organizations to strengthen their management and achieve greater economic sustainability.

As a mentor in Strategic Business Development, Liz guides companies and professionals in financial psychology, cost analysis, economies of scale, budgeting, and financial structure. Her conscious economics methodology transforms disorganized financial structures into efficient models, promoting clarity, savings, and sustainable growth. With an MBA and specialization in Finance, her mission is to help organizations achieve stability and maximize their financial potential with solid strategies and effective practices.

Profile:

With over 25 years of experience in leadership and organizational transformation, Marelys Garcia has been co-founder and CEO of Mindslines since 2018. Under her leadership, the company helps organizations develop the potential of their front-line leaders, transforming corporate cultures and fostering high-performance teams. Marelys has demonstrated her ability to innovate and guide diverse teams to success, managing everything from strategy to human resources.

Before founding Mindslines, Marelys held key roles in large corporations. She was senior director of acquisitions at Pet Retail Brands and worked at IBM for 19 years, where she held strategic positions in logistics and optimization. Her career began as a consultant at Lockwood Greene, marking the start of a solid and diverse professional journey.

An industrial engineer from Florida International University, Marelys has complemented her education with studies in leadership and innovation at MIT and multiple certifications in talent management and development at the University of Cambridge. At the same time, Marelys is passionate about philanthropy. Through the Aldaba Foundation, of which she is co-founder, she actively collaborates with various social causes. Aldaba promotes a community in which people, especially those who lack equitable access to resources, have the knowledge, support, and mentoring they need to empower themselves, improve their lives, and realize their dreams.

Regina Batista

Profile

Regina Batista is a strategic leader with experience in helping organizations transform their business and technology processes. She is an Enterprise Agile Coach, Consultant, and Certified Agility Instructor. Regina has successfully worked with many organizations on their agile transformations, helping all areas, from leaders and project management offices (PMOs) to the creation of high-performance agile teams, always promoting an agile mindset. Her experience in different agile frameworks and her knowledge of project management make her an excellent choice for the Women’s Chamber of Commerce mentoring program in the United States.

In addition, Regina Batista is the founder of International Women in Leadership. In this group, our mission is to create a global community where women can overcome barriers, reach their full potential, and grow as leaders through networking events and empowerment workshops.

Regina is excited to support and motivate leaders who want to learn how agility or project management can help them advance their careers and strengthen their organizations. She is also a passionate advocate for empowerment, personal growth, and continuous improvement.

Profile

Strategist, motivator, business and life coach, speaker, and author.

Guided by the belief that “we can all reach our full potential,” Rysobel decided to expand her horizons to support more people and became a certified coach at the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (IPEC) in Washington, DC.

Seeking more profound results in her practice, she developed the powerful self-assessment tool, Tu Vida en 360˚ (Your Life in 360˚), which establishes the importance of maintaining a balance between personal, professional, and family life. She has always emphasized that to live in balance, one must use time effectively, which is why she considers herself an expert in time management.

She studied finance at the University of Puerto Rico and holds a master’s degree in human resources from the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico. She has more than twenty years of experience as a business strategist and has been a pillar in the establishment, growth, and expansion of companies. She has supported businesses and companies owned by young people, women, and individuals.

She has developed areas of customer service, human resources, management, accounting, finance, as well as sales and marketing.

Currently, she combines her business knowledge and academic background with the purpose of guiding business owners, professionals, and individuals to decide to learn to live in balance, grow, and stay happy.

Profile

Lawyer and Advisory Counsel with offices in Barcelona, Madrid, and Miami. Specializing in Family Law and Family Business Law, she was nominated for the 2020 Legal Practice Excellence Award by Economist&Jurist.

With an Executive MBA from EAE Business School and the University of Barcelona, she is also accredited among the top 50 female directors and executives by the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce, Observatory of Economy, Women and Business.

She is a professor of law at the UOC and a collaborating professor at ISDE Law School Barcelona; co-director of the Postgraduate Course in Comparative Family Law Spain-Argentina at Univ Sta. Fe (Argentina).

She was chosen as the only Spanish lawyer speaker at the IX World Congress on the Rights of Children and Adolescents held in the city of Córdoba (Argentina).

Participant in numerous courses, conferences, and training sessions at the national and international level.

Selected among the Top 100 Women Leaders in Spain 2024 as an Advisory Counselor, as well as a lawyer in the first edition of Forbes Lawyers 2024.
