In the context of International Women’s Month, the U.S. Hispanic Women’s Chamber of Commerce experienced a moment that goes beyond a symbolic gesture: a recognition of the real, tangible, and transformative impact of the women who are shaping the course of our society today.
This tribute was made possible thanks to the leadership of
Christi Fraga, the first woman to lead the City of Doral, and the continued commitment of our President,
Yamilet Rivas, who keeps creating spaces where female talent is made visible and celebrated.
During the ceremony, more than 20 women from our community were recognized for their leadership, trajectory, and contributions to economic and social development. Women who not only lead businesses and organizations, but also create opportunities, build community, and open doors for future generations.
A reflection of collective power
This recognition represents a much broader community: more than 30 million Hispanic women in the United States, whose influence is now a fundamental pillar of the country’s growth.
Each recognized story is a testament to resilience, vision, and commitment. But above all, it is a reminder that true impact happens when leadership is exercised with purpose and collaboration.
More than recognition—a commitment
This moment reaffirms the Chamber’s mission: to continue creating spaces where women don’t just participate, but lead with voice, vision, and action.
In an environment where challenges are constantly evolving, female leadership stands as a key force to drive solutions, generate innovation, and strengthen the business ecosystem.
A call to keep moving forward together
Today we celebrate—but we also renew our collective commitment:
to keep opening doors, creating opportunities, and elevating female leadership in every space where we can make an impact.
Because when one woman moves forward, she creates a path for many more.
And when a community comes together, its power has no limits.
