For the second year in a row, the U.S. Hispanic Women’s Chamber of Commerce welcomed a trade mission from Bolivia, reinforcing a strategic relationship aimed at strengthening business ties, opening new opportunities for international expansion, and connecting Bolivia’s entrepreneurial ecosystem with the dynamic business environment of Miami.
The meeting took place under the leadership of Yamilet Rivas, President and Founder of the Chamber, who received the delegation organized by Fundación Emprender Futuro, led by Allison Silva and recognized for its work in promoting entrepreneurship, innovation, and business development in Bolivia.
This trade mission represented a key opportunity to foster high-value conversations, encourage the exchange of experiences, and connect entrepreneurs, business leaders, and international stakeholders with the opportunities that South Florida offers as a platform for growth, investment, and global connection.
An agenda focused on strategic connections
During the visit, the delegation participated in curated spaces designed to promote business networking, learning, and the identification of new collaboration opportunities between Bolivia and the United States.
As part of this experience, key Chamber members also joined the mission, including Italo Torrese, from Nexus Innova, and María Gómez, from Elevare Consulting. Their participation brought strategic insight and practical knowledge of the local business ecosystem, enriching the exchange and providing valuable perspectives on innovation, consulting, and market expansion.
Participation in eMerge Americas and dialogue with Miami-Dade County
One of the most significant moments of the mission took place during eMerge Americas, one of Florida’s leading events focused on technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
Within this framework, the Chamber joined the delegation in a forum with Miami-Dade County, where discussions focused on opportunities available to entrepreneurs, business leaders, and international stakeholders interested in exploring the local ecosystem.
The conversation also highlighted the importance of initiatives such as Strive 305, which provides resources, guidance, and tools to support the growth of small businesses and entrepreneurs in the region.
This exchange allowed participants to gain firsthand insight into the opportunities within the county, as well as the institutional resources available to those seeking to expand their businesses, build partnerships, or connect with the local market.
A partnership that drives internationalization
Hosting this trade mission for the second consecutive year alongside Fundación Emprender Futuro reaffirms the Chamber’s commitment to internationalization, business leadership, and building bridges between communities, markets, and opportunities.
For the Chamber, these initiatives clearly demonstrate the value of international collaboration and the critical role that chambers, foundations, and business organizations play in facilitating meaningful connections that generate real impact.
Beyond a formal agenda, this mission created a space for learning, shared vision, and relationship-building—laying the foundation for new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and sustainable growth.
Connections that become opportunities
The U.S. Hispanic Women’s Chamber of Commerce extends its gratitude to Yamilet Rivas, Allison Silva, Fundación Emprender Futuro, participating members, and all the leaders who made this high-impact exchange possible.
This second trade mission strengthens a growing path of collaboration between Bolivia and Miami and reinforces the Chamber’s vision of continuing to create spaces where connections turn into real
