In line with its mission to create opportunities and visibility for female talent, the U.S. Hispanic Women’s Chamber of Commerce celebrated the recent visit of its President and Founder, Yamilet Rivas, to the Consulate General of Mexico in Miami, a strategic meeting that reinforces the value of international collaboration.
The meeting, held with Rutilio Escandón, Consul General of Mexico in Miami, marked a significant step in strengthening alliances aimed at advancing the leadership, participation, and positioning of Mexican women entrepreneurs within the U.S. economic ecosystem.
An agenda focused on impact and opportunities
During the meeting, the importance of creating more spaces for access, representation, and growth for Mexican women was highlighted, recognizing their key contribution to business and community development.
The conversation also identified concrete opportunities for collaboration with the consulate’s Economic Affairs Office and Community Affairs Department, opening the door to joint initiatives that will strengthen the female business ecosystem in South Florida.
Among the most relevant points was the potential to create synergies with the Programa Consular de Emprendimiento para Mexicanas en el Exterior (PCEME), a platform designed to support and empower Mexican women entrepreneurs living abroad.
More than a visit: a positioning strategy
Encounters like this reflect a clear vision: sustainable growth for women entrepreneurs does not happen in isolation, it is built through strategic alliances that connect sectors, countries, and opportunities.
The Chamber continues to position itself as a bridge between communities, institutions, and leaders, facilitating spaces where female talent not only participates, but also influences, leads, and transforms.
The value of building community on a global scale
The visit of Yamilet Rivas to the Consulate General of Mexico in Miami reaffirms the Chamber’s commitment to:
- Strengthening international support networks
- Creating opportunities for business development
- Elevating the visibility of women leaders in high-level spaces
- Building ecosystems where female talent has real access to growth
This meeting represents not only institutional progress, but also a powerful message to the community: when bridges are built, opportunities multiply.
The U.S. Hispanic Women’s Chamber of Commerce continues to move forward with purpose, creating spaces where women don’t just access opportunities, but lead change and leave a global impact.
Because when one woman moves forward, we all move forward.
