Female leadership in technology transcends borders

The U.S. Hispanic Women’s Chamber of Commerce celebrates a new milestone that reaffirms its commitment to the global projection of female talent. Sandra Valencia, CCO & Cofounder of Smart Network Solutions and Director of the Chamber’s Technology Committee, has been selected to join the Official Latin American Delegation at the Women in Tech Global Summit 2026, taking place from April 28 to 30 in Cape Town.

A stage where the future of technology is defined

The Women in Tech Global Summit 2026 is not just an international gathering, it is one of the most influential global platforms for innovation and technological leadership. This edition will bring together:

  • More than 700 delegates
  • Over 100 speakers
  • Representatives from 70 delegations across more than 60 countries

With an agenda focused on the topics shaping the present and future of the industry, including:

  • Artificial intelligence
  • Cybersecurity
  • Blockchain
  • Sustainable technology

The summit is also supported by global partners such as Microsoft, Amazon, UN Women, and World Economic Forum, consolidating its role as a key meeting point for those leading technological transformation worldwide.

Representation that opens doors

Sandra Valencia’s selection not only recognizes her trajectory and leadership, but also positions the Chamber within high-level international conversations. Her participation represents:

  • Visibility for Latin American female talent on global stages
  • Opportunities to build high-impact connections
  • Access to trends and discussions shaping the future of technology

Each time a woman from our region is invited into these spaces, something greater happens, the conversation expands, new opportunities emerge, and representation in global decision-making is strengthened.

Technology, leadership, and community

Through her role in the Chamber, Sandra has driven initiatives that connect the community with innovation, promoting the strategic use of technology as a driver of business growth.

This achievement reflects a shared vision, the future of technology is also being built through female leadership, diversity of thought, and international collaboration.

An achievement that inspires many

From the Chamber, we celebrate this important recognition as a reflection of the impact our leaders are making both within and beyond our borders.

To Sandra Valencia, we wish you an extraordinary summit and look forward to everything you will bring back to continue strengthening our community.

Because female leadership is not only part of the future of technology.
It is building it.
