The U.S. Hispanic Women’s Chamber of Commerce had the honor of attending the 100th Anniversary Gala of the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce, a historic celebration that brought together business leaders, officials, community allies, and institutions committed to the economic and social development of Miami Beach.
Our Chamber was represented by its President and Founder, Yamilet Rivas, and its Communications Director, Angie Huffington, who attended this special evening on behalf of our community of female entrepreneurs, professionals, and leaders.
We extend a very special thank you to Miami-Dade District 5 Commissioner Vicki L. López for extending this meaningful invitation to our Chamber and for continuing to open spaces where leadership, collaboration, and community meet to generate new opportunities.
Under the theme “Then. Now. Always Miami Beach,” the gala celebrated a century of legacy, vision, and commitment to the growth of one of South Florida’s most iconic, vibrant, and multicultural cities. The evening recognized leaders, businesses, and institutions that over the years have contributed to the development and positioning of Miami Beach as a benchmark for innovation, tourism, business, and culture.
In addition to celebrating 100 years of the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce, the event served a deeply meaningful purpose: supporting the Miami Beach Chamber Education Foundation. This initiative drives opportunities for local students, educators, and schools, reaffirming the value of investing in the new generations who represent the future of our community.
For the U.S. Hispanic Women’s Chamber of Commerce, participating in these spaces strengthens our mission to elevate the presence of female leaders, build strategic alliances, and actively participate in conversations that drive the economic, educational, and social future of our region.
We thank Commissioner Vicki L. López once again for her leadership, accessibility, and commitment to building bridges between institutions, entrepreneurs, and communities. Her invitation reaffirms the importance of continuing to work together to open more spaces for representation, visibility, and collaboration.
From the Chamber, we continue to strengthen alliances, accompany historic moments, and participate in settings where opportunities are built for our members, our communities, and future generations.
