An exclusive morning to discuss how to pave the way, build credibility, and lead in industries where few women reach.
On August 25, the U.S. Hispanic Women’s Commercial Chamber of Commerce will once again gather its members in a space designed to learn, connect, and share leadership experiences with those who have built high-impact careers.
Our special guest will be Darlene M. Fernandez, PE, Senior Vice President of Business Development & Strategy at CES Consultants, an executive with over 25 years of experience in one of the most demanding and traditionally male-dominated sectors.
During this exclusive Executive Breakfast for members, Darlene will lead the conversation:
“Leading Where Few Women Reach: Vision, Culture, and Impact”
Throughout her career, Darlene has learned to navigate highly competitive environments, build professional credibility, and lead teams and organizations in spaces where female representation has historically been limited.
Her experience will serve as a starting point for a conversation about the challenges—and also the opportunities—that women face when they decide to step into leadership positions in traditionally male-dominated industries.
How do you build credibility when you are the exception in the room?
The gathering will address questions that form part of the reality of many executives and businesswomen.
How do you earn a place in sectors where few women reach decision-making positions? How do you build authority without giving up your own leadership style? What role do preparation, professional relationships, and the ability to deliver results play?
Darlene will share lessons learned from her career and reflections on the importance of paving the way not only to advance individually, but also to facilitate opportunities for those who follow.
Culture also determines how organizations grow
Another central theme will be the role of organizational culture in the growth of companies and their teams.
Darlene will discuss the experience of CES Consultants and the cultural impact that Cingulate has had within the organization, as well as the lessons this process has left regarding leadership, collaboration, and team building.
Because a strategy can define where a company wants to go, but it is culture that determines how people move forward together toward that goal.
Conversations that only happen when you belong
The Chamber’s Executive Hearings have been created as intimate spaces where our members can access leaders with relevant experiences, broaden their perspective, and generate high-value relationships within the community.
It is not just about listening to a lecture. It is about sitting at the table, asking questions, sharing experiences, and connecting with other entrepreneurs and professionals who are also building, leading, and growing. Thanks to New York Life for being the official sponsor of this gathering.

Because leading also means opening doors
This will be a morning to talk about results, but also about legacy. About how to build a solid career, transform an organization’s culture, and use every leadership position to make the path easier for those who come after.
If you are already a member, we look forward to seeing you at the table.
And if you are not yet part of the Chamber, this is the time to discover what it means to belong to a community where connections, knowledge, and opportunities continue far beyond a single event. https://camacom.org/
