The U.S. Hispanic Women’s Chamber of Commerce launches Perspectivas Hispanas, a podcast that amplifies female leadership in business

We have taken a strategic step in our mission to highlight and strengthen female leadership with the launch of Perspectivas Hispanas, a new institutional podcast focused on business, entrepreneurship, economic growth, and leadership—featuring the voices of Hispanic women—in partnership with Miami Community Newspapers, a media outlet recognized for its commitment to the business community and local leadership in South Florida.

The podcast was created as a high-level conversation space where leaders, founders, and executives share real experiences, key learnings, and perspectives that reflect the growing impact of Hispanic women on the U.S. economy. Hosted by Carolina Melo, Associate Director of the Chamber’s Podcast and a communication strategist with more than two decades of experience in international media, Perspectivas Hispanas is committed to authentic, practical, and relevant dialogue.

Episode 1: Personal branding as a growth strategy
The first episode features María Robayo, founder of M6 and co-founder of Hello Latinas, recognized for her work in personal brand development for professionals and entrepreneurs.
In this conversation, María addresses key topics such as the essence of personal branding in today’s environment, how to turn it into a strategic growth tool, and the formula for building a brand with purpose, clarity, and impact. A particularly valuable episode for those seeking to position themselves with intention and coherence in a competitive market.

Episode 2: The myth of the perfect entrepreneur
The second episode features Sandra Valencia, COO and co-founder of Smart Network Solutions and a Chamber member, with more than 23 years of experience in the technology industry. In conversation with Carolina Melo, Sandra dismantles the myth of perfection in entrepreneurship and leadership, highlighting the value of mistakes, imperfections, and continuous learning as fundamental parts of success.
The episode also explores the challenges of being a woman in technology, the pressure to “have everything perfect” before starting a business, the importance of enjoying the process, and the power of networking as a driver of professional growth.

A space to learn, connect, and inspire
With Perspectivas Hispanas, the U.S. Hispanic Women’s Chamber of Commerce reaffirms its commitment to creating platforms that promote visibility, knowledge, and opportunities for Hispanic women leaders across diverse sectors. The podcast is designed for entrepreneurs, executives, professionals, and allies seeking relevant, actionable content aligned with today’s business challenges.

Both episodes are now available and can be viewed in full through the Chamber’s official channels.
The invitation is clear: listen, share, and join this conversation that places at its center the stories, experiences, and perspectives shaping the future of Hispanic leadership. https://camacom.org/perspectivas-hispanas/
