The U.S. Hispanic women’s chamber of commerce continues to strengthen its leadership ecosystem by welcoming new voices that bring strategic vision and professional rigor. On this occasion, we are pleased to welcome María Lorca-Susino as a new member.
María is a Professor of Economics at the University of Miami Herbert Business School, where she has been teaching since 2009, shaping new generations of business leaders with an analytical and global perspective. Her academic career is complemented by a strong presence as a researcher and economic commentator in international media, where she translates complex economic trends into clear, strategic insights.
In addition to her academic work, she is co-founder of Infoxir, a Miami-based startup that provides digitally curated economic analysis. Through this initiative, María works to bring macroeconomic and financial data closer to the general public, helping individuals and organizations make more informed decisions in an increasingly dynamic and challenging environment.
Her profile connects three essential dimensions for today’s business development: academia, innovation, and strategic communication. At a time when information flows in massive volumes but not always with clarity, her ability to interpret and contextualize data brings unique value to our community.
The Chamber is honored to welcome a leader who understands that data are not just numbers, but tools for conscious, sustainable, and impactful decision-making.
María, we are confident that your experience will deeply enrich our network of women leaders and help strengthen the economic dialogue within our business ecosystem.
