Presencia institucional y liderazgo en el Miami-Dade County’s Premier Small Business Expo

Institutional Presence and Leadership at the Miami-Dade County’s Premier Small Business Expo

Miami-Dade’s business ecosystem came together once again at one of the most relevant gatherings for entrepreneurs and local leaders: the Miami-Dade County’s Premier Small Business Expo, a space designed to strengthen strategic connections, generate real opportunities, and energize the county’s economy.

On February 17, from the headquarters of Miami Community Newspapers, our president and Strive 305 en Español ambassador, Yamilet Rivas, actively participated by interviewing key players in local economic development.

During the event, she spoke with strategic county leaders, including:
Ana Rioseco and Luis Guardia from the Miami-Dade County Procurement Department, who shared valuable information about opportunities for small businesses interested in working with local government.
Soraya Ramirez-Galan, Outreach & Community Engagement Leader at Miami Dade College, highlighting the role of education and training in strengthening businesses.
Manny Cid, Senior Advisor for Economic Opportunities at the County’s Office of Innovation and Economic Development, who discussed initiatives driving regional competitiveness.
Our partners from Comercio TV, along with multiple entrepreneurs and business owners who are actively moving the local economy forward.

The event brought together hundreds of professionals with a common purpose: to connect, grow, and build strategic alliances that generate tangible impact. More than an expo, it was a convergence point between the public sector, academia, media, and entrepreneurs, showing that sustainable economic development is born from collaboration.

The institutional participation of the U.S. Hispanic women’s chamber of commerce reaffirms our commitment to being present in the spaces where decisions are made, opportunities are shared, and meaningful relationships are built for our members and the broader business community.

If you want to be at the center where connections that transform businesses are created, this is your community. Become part of the Chamber and gain access to a strategic ecosystem designed to drive your growth.
