37th Annual In the Company of Women Awards

From its early years, In the Company of Women has been much more than a recognition ceremony. It has established itself as a historic and exemplary collaboration between the Miami-Dade County Commission for Women and Miami-Dade Parks, bringing together institutional leadership and community commitment to celebrate the impact of women in our region.

This alliance was formally established through a county resolution, ensuring the continuity, integrity, and county-wide reach of this prestigious event. A key step to protect its legacy and ensure it remains a space for authentic and meaningful recognition.

The Miami-Dade County Commission for Women is the entity responsible for overseeing the nomination and selection process, safeguarding the values, criteria, and vision that distinguish this recognition. Miami-Dade Parks, for its part, provides the operational partnership that makes it possible to bring this celebration to the community, turning a vision into a real and memorable experience.

Thanks to this collaboration, for decades women whose leadership, service, and contributions have left a profound mark on Miami-Dade County have been honored. Women who have transformed communities, opened pathways, and generated sustainable impact across diverse sectors.
