With over 25 years of experience in the transportation, infrastructure, and urban development sectors, Darlene has been instrumental in projects that directly impact the quality of life for thousands of people in South Florida. Her work reflects a clear vision: to build cities that are more efficient, connected, and prepared for the future.
Throughout her career, she has held high-level leadership positions, including her role as Executive Director of the Miami-Dade Expressway Authority (MDX) and Deputy Director of Transit Services for Miami-Dade County, where she led major infrastructure, transportation, and public operations programs.
Currently, Darlene serves as Senior Vice President of Business Development & Strategy at CES Consultants, where she drives the firm’s strategic growth, market expansion, and the creation of alliances that strengthen the development of more resilient and sustainable communities.
Her arrival at the Chamber represents the addition of a leader with technical vision, executive expertise, and a deep commitment to public service. Darlene embodies the type of leadership that not only plans for the future but builds it with responsibility, strategy, and purpose.
